The 2014 2nd Qingpingle China Poker Championship will be held in Sanya from August 22nd-31st.

According to an official, the event consists of a team event and an individual event.

It is the largest international poker championship in China at present, aiming to promote Chinese poker games, improve players’ competitive skills and provide an exchange platform for poker players at home and abroad.　

Last year, the CPG Sanya event proved extremely popular. The event attracted a field of 542 players to compete for the rich prize of over 10 million yuan. This year, things are set to be even bigger.

The poker tournament is supported by the Hainan Province Bureau of Culture and Sports, the Hainan Sports Federation and the Sanya Municipal Government.
