Construction work on Sanya’s first school that provides education and care for children with special needs is completed and has begun enrolling students. Enrollment will last from May 12th to June 30th, 2014.
Located in the Guoling Middle School of Tianya Town, the school will provide education mainly to children with learning and mental disabilities living in the southern region of Hainan.
The school will be open to age-eligible children between 8 and 14 years old to ensure that they can receive 9-years of compulsory education. The school is set to open 3 classes in first-grade, with each having 12 students.
The school is the first special school built in Sanya whose mission is to build a brighter future for children with special needs. The school features large classrooms, wide corridors and plenty of open space.
