Recently, the Sanya Public Security Department introduced 9 new mobile police stations which are always on the move, aimed at improving efficiency in the fight against crime and to help enrich relations between the police and the public.

The mobile police station is 4.5 meters long and 2.1 meters wide, with a height of 2.95 meters. The mobile police station can achieve a top designed speed of 40 km/h.

The new police technology includes a printer to deal with paperwork, a computer with access to law enforcement databases, specially installed software to monitor police cars and motor vehicles outside the station and direct radio communications.

These mobile police stations are mainly used to intensify the security work at transport hubs and densely populated areas.
