The Avenue of Stars, as the second major project of the Mission Hills Movie Town, is set to open to the public on February 1st, 2015.

The Avenue of Stars is comprised of handprints as well as signatures of 80 celebrities and stalls with souvenirs.

 

Other movie-theme streets, named “South Asia” and “Socialist Old Beijing” are expected to be completed soon and will be open to tourists in the coming years.

 

The Mission Hills Movie Town project, worth about 900 million U.S. dollars, is designed to be a movie-themed tourism resort as well as a filming town for TV series’ and movies.
