The Sanya Duty-free Store has proved an extremely popular shopping destination for tourists during their stay in Sanya. By the end of 2013, the Sanya Duty Free Store has received 10 million visitors since the implementation of the duty free policy on April 20th, 2011.
 
The increasing popularity among visitors also encourages the shop to introduced more international brands and adjust its sales structure to offer a wide range of options cater to the demands of shoppers.
Besides, the size of the business area has been expanded to over 10,000 sqm, allowing it to cater to far more customers’ and their increasing shopping demands.
 
The duty-free shop is open to tourists and citizens aged 16 or above, offering duty exemptions on imported commodities worth no more than 8,000 yuan.
