The SuperStar Virgo, Star Cruises’ flagship cruise liner in Asia, began its six-month seasonal deployment in Hong Kong on April 7, 2014, offering cruise itineraries to Sanya, as well as to the appealing tourist destination Halong Bay in Vietnam.

Between 7 April and 26 October, the SuperStar Virgo, will be setting sail for Sanya and Halong Bay weekly from Hong Kong on a 4 day 3 night itinerary.

Besides this, a multi-destination cruise journey to Keelung (Taipei), Kaohsiung, and Taichung is set to be offered monthly, offering passengers a new cruise experience with a 7 day 6 night trip.

The SuperStar Virgo offers 935 cabins and 935 rooms with 13 decks. With a displacement of up to 51,000 tons, the ship can carry 1,870 passengers.

Star Cruises recently announced the construction of two more new mega-vessels to meet growing demand from the Asian market.
