Haikou to host over 200 exhibition activities in 2015

The Haikou government is planning to host more than 200 exhibition and conference events this year and will organize over 10 tourism promotion activities outside the island, aiming to build the city into an important center in China for conferences and exhibitions.
Exhibition activities to be held in Haikou this year include the Hainan Culture Industry Expo in March, the Hainan Furniture and Decoration & Building Material Expo in November and the China (Hainan) Health Industry Summit.
Other big festivals are scheduled to be held in Haikou in 2015, including 2015 China Trademark Festival, the 11th China International Event Festival and the 2015 International Boat Show and Festival (IBSF 2015).
As an emerging exhibition city, Haikou has enjoyed rapid growth in its exhibition sector in recent years thanks to supportive policies and promotion activities launched by the local government. In the first 7 months of 2014, Haikou held a total of 122 convention and exhibition activities.
