Flying to and from Xiamen? Bring your patience. The city's aviation hub remains the third most delayed international airport in China, according to a newly-released airport on-time performance report.

Beijing Capital International Airport took the first and best spot in the on-time performance report in February, with 84.59% of flights leaving on schedule. While Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport reported the second best departure record.

According to the reports, Xiamen ranks third among airports with worst on-time performance in February, with 46.43% of flights failing to leave on time.

Top 10 airports with best on-time performance: Beijing, Guangzhou, Kunming, Dalian, Shanghai Hongqiao, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Qingdao, Shenyang and Shanghai Pudong.

Top 10 airports with worst on-time performance: Zhengzhou, Nanjing, Xiamen, Hangzhou, Guiyang, Changsha, Sanya, Haikou, Chongqing and Urumqi.
