According to the Sanya Railway Station authority, the station is expected to transport 65,800 passengers during the Qingming Festival holiday.

Sanya Railway Station saw the Qingming Festival holiday's first passenger peak on April 4, transporting about 14,000 passengers.

Hainan Railway also launched 30 pairs of bullet trains during the holiday to better meet passengers’ travel demands. The daily number of passengers on the Hainan Eastern Ring Railway is expected to hit 19,000 during the travel peak.

During the period, the passenger flow for short-distance high-speed trains are mainly from Sanya to Haikou, Wenchang, Wanning and Lingshui, while the out-of-island passenger flow mainly concentrates on the lines from Sanya to Changsha, Zhengzhou, Xi’an and Chengdu.
