The largest yacht maintenance base in Hainan was put into use in Sanya on March 27, according to reports.

Sanya has been paying great attention to the development of the local yacht industry in recent years. The base aims to provide an international yacht service with a professional back-up group to ensure the development of the yachting industry in Sanya.

Operating as The Sanya Visun Tuscany Yaching Co., Ltd., the refit facility consists of 750 sqm of on-land area and a 1,000 sqm waterfront area. It offers repair and refitting services to yachts of up to 37 meters in length.

Wang Dafu, the president of Visun Royal Yacht Club, said this new proper refitting facility will also support the increasing yacht fleet in the emerging Chinese market.
