Sanya Yalong Bay International Rose Valley

After years of effort, Sanya has great potential to become a popular destination for leisure agriculture. The tourism revenue in Sanya’s leisure agricultural zones reached 140 million yuan in 2013.

So far, the city has 16 leisure agricultural and rural tourism zones. Among them, 2 have been rated as five-star demonstration sites and 3 national demonstration sites.

As Sanya’s largest flower farm and garden, the Haitang Bay Flower Farm received 170,000 tourists during last Spring Festival, with daily visitor arrivals climbing to 30,000.

The city features an abundance of tropical fruit plantations and primitive tropical forests, with large-scale hot spring and ecological villages in Hainan.

The relevant departments are working on supportive policies to better guide the development of the city’s leisure agriculture and rural tourism industry.
