Sanya Romance Park

 

The second phase of the Sanya Romance Park project is expected to begin construction soon, according to Sanya’s government departments.

The second phase of the program will continue the four theme zones including Elephant Valley Wild Zoo Park, Snow World, Kid Recreation Park and Water Theme Park. The Elephant Valley and Snow World areas are scheduled to start construction on May 1st and will be completed and opened to the public on October 1st, 2014.

As one of its key provincial cultural projects, Sanya Romance Park opened to the public on 25 September 2013 and was received with a warm welcome by tourists and local residents alike. The scenic spot features dozens of small theme areas, including the Yazhou Ancient City, Li & Miao Streets and Pirate War area.

As of 16 March, the scenic spot has so far received a total of 910,000 tourists.
