Since March 1st, 2014, a series of volunteer service activities, which are jointly hosted by the Communist Youth League, Sanya Volunteer Association and relevant departments, are happening in Sanya as part of the month-long citywide volunteering campaign.

These volunteer activities brought together a diverse group of more than 1,000 volunteers from 20 organizations and communities around Sanya. The volunteers are making great efforts to create a civilized tourism environment in Sanya, and deepen the understanding of volunteer services for social development.

The volunteer activities cover beach environmental protection, traffic civilization, blood donations, travel guidance and community welfare services.

The volunteer works around the city are of great significance and will likely guide more people to devote themselves to the healthy development of an international tourism island.
