Taiwan’s Mou Chung-ho won the second of four qualifiers for this year’s Volvo China Open by virtue of record-equaling 66 in the second and final round at Sanya Luhuitou Golf Club on 2nd March.

 

The 2014 Volvo China Open Qualifying round successfully concluded at Sanya’s Luhuitou Golf Club on 2nd March. Taiwan’s Mou Chung-ho won the second of four qualifiers for this year’s Volvo China Open by virtue of a record-matching 66 in the second and final round.

Daniel Woltman of the USA, and Hong Kong’s James Stewart took the second and third qualifying spots.

There are two more qualifying tournaments still to be played at Wolong Valley and the Nanshan golf clubs. Each tournament will attract large numbers of golfers keen on earning one of just two places on offer in this year’s Volvo China Open.

The Volvo China Open, which is co-sanctioned by the European Tour and OneAsia Tour, offers a prize purse of RMB 20,000,000.
