Sanya ranks 5th among top 10 Chinese cities in housing prices in Jan 2014
Housing prices in Sanya were ranked 5th highest in the latest ranking list of average housing prices of Chinese cities in 2014, released by the national real estate market information center.
The survey collected data on average housing prices in 100 Chinese cities in January.
With incessantly high housing prices, Beijing topped off the list with an average price of 37,439 yuan/sqm, followed by Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Sanya, Wenzhou, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Nanjing and Tianjin.
Housing prices in Sanya averaged 21,060 yuan/sqm.
The following 10 cities posted the highest average housing prices in China in January 2014.

2. Shanghai (29,974 yuan/sqm)
3. Shenzhen (24,927 yuan/sqm)
4. Xiamen (21,741 yuan/sqm)
5. Sanya (21,060 yuan/sqm)

7. Hangzhou (18,804 yuan/sqm)
8. Guangzhou (18,487 yuan/sqm)
9. Nanjing (17,786 yuan/sqm)
10. Tianjin (15,117 yuan/sqm)
