According to the Sanya Frontier Inspection Station, a total of 3.55 million seasonal fresh fish fries were shipped to Japan from February 9th to 15th, 2014.

During the shipping season, 21 ships left from Sanya’s ports for Japan, a year-on-year increase of 17%.

Sanya is one of Japan’s main fish fries importers despite the major earthquake disaster that devastated the nation.

Sanya’s fish fries exports to Japan in the season were valued at around US $7.1 million, an increase of 16% over the same period last year.

Benefitting from Sanya’s natural marine advantages, this successful shipping season will lead to even larger exports in the coming year.
