According to the Sanya Phoenix International Airport, a total of 2,211 flights arrived or departed the airport from 31st January to 5th February, handling a total of 359,225 passengers in the process, a year-on-year increase of 2.98%.

The airport handled 64,560 passengers on 358 flights on Thursday, the last day of the weeklong Spring Festival holiday.

The airport authorities are reminding passengers to arrive at the airport early due to traffic jams in the city’s urban area during the tourist peak period.
