Volunteer activities launched in Sanya create sanitary holiday environment

A series of volunteer activities to create a sanitary holiday environment is currently happening around scenic spots and public places in Sanya.

During the holiday, the volunteer groups have been working to serve tourists and residents in popular public places. A number of volunteer stations have been set up at Dadonghai Square, Sanya Bay, Nanshan Temple and Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park.

The volunteer activities include green garbage bags handouts and beach trash clean-up.

Over 400 garbage bins are placed every 50 meters at the beach in Dadonghai and Sanya Bay to encourage tourists to be civic-minded by throwing their trash into the bins to reduce littering.
