Sanya is witnessing a seasonal influx of tourists during the 7-day-long Spring Festival holiday. In order to promote safe and civilized tours, Sanya’s law enforcement department recently launched a campaign on RV (Recreational Vehicle) parking and camping along Sanya Bay road.

Over 70 RVs were found parking on public green belts and parking lots in the region and most of RV camping tourists even chose to cook with fire, barbecue and set up tents on the beach, which caused environmental problems for Sanya Bay

Overland travel has gained more popularity in Sanya in recent years, especially during the winter peak season. This new way of traveling enables tourists to take leisurely road trips and view the natural landscape beyond the seaside.

For better a management of RV camping activities, the authorities have sought to persuade camping tourists to park at the temporary camping site at Sanya Hailo Creative Culture Park on Jiyang Avenue.
