The 2014 Spring Festival holiday kicks off today in China, and scenic spots in Sanya are taking a series of measures to tackle the influx of tourists who are enjoying sunshine, clean air and the beach in the city.

Sanya Yalong Bay Tropical Forest Park reinforced its firefighting crew and added two temporary parking lots. The Nanshan Tourist Zone added 960 parking spaces and the Daxiaodongtian Scenic Spot added 400 emergency parking spaces for self-driving tourists.

The Daxiaodongtian Scenic Spot added staff to guide vehicles to avoid traffic chaos during the 7-day holiday. At the same time, the scenic spot offers free guide maps for tourists.

The Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area opened two separate passages for individual and group tourists entering the area. It also opened online ticket booking services and tourists who have bought the tickets online only need to have their QR code scanned at the entrance gate. In addition, the scenic area will be offering free WIFI coverage for tourists.
