50 new-energy buses to hit roads in Sanya by Jan 25th
In a bid to cut emissions and reduce noise, Sanya will introduce 50 new-energy buses and will put them into use by the 25th of January 2014.
The 50 new-energy buses will be operated by the Sanya Guangda Public Transport Company, featuring the automatic identification system for currency, which is capable of preventing the use of counterfeit money.
Buses No. 8 and 10, which travel through downtown Sanya to Phoenix international Airport and to the Sanya Railway Station, have more than 40 buses running on the roads, and the Sanya Guangda Public Transport Company will replace all of the existing 40 buses with new-energy buses and will increase the number of buses, in order to create a smooth, green and convenient transportation environment for the tourists and the general public.
