On January 17th 2014, a CCTV television crew traveled to Sanya for a 5 day shoot, in order to create a tourism television program showcasing Sanya’s winter tourism, food, history, folk customs and culture.

This Sanya tourism television program will be aired on two CCTV channels, including CCTV News and CCTV Morning News at “golden time” on January 29th, according to the Sanya Tourism Development Committee.

The four-part documentary series program will present to the audience the beautiful scenery of many scenic spots in Sanya including Binglanggu Valley, the local Dan people’s seafood, various unique tropical coastal tourism resources and the charm of traditional Li and Miao ethnic cultures including the Li brocade, Li dances and unique Li green cuisines.
