The first Sanya Peony Cultural Festival 2014 opened on Tuesday at the Sanya Science and Technology Park.
Following the conclusion of the 8th China International Orchid Show, the first Sanya Peony Cultural Festival 2014 opened on Tuesday at the Sanya Science and Technology Park.
Visitors to the event can enjoy the sight of over 300 species of peony flowers from central China’s Henan Province as well as a large-scale cultural feast like the Tang Emperor flower-watching performance and a patrol of beauties in Tang Dynasty costumes.

These activities will combine the appreciation of peonies with tours of the Nanshan famed Buddhist temples and displays of local customs during the festival which lasts till February 6.
