Sanya ranks 2nd in China for leisure tourism investment competitiveness
Sanya ranks 2nd on list of China City leisure tourism investment competitiveness among China’s 346 cities, according to a report of China City Tourism Investment Competitiveness published in Shenzhen recently.
China’s urban tourism investment competitiveness rankings, jointly conducted by by a well-known tourism investment management company, Peking University, Chinese Academy of Science and East China Normal University, consist of leisure ranking, sightseeing ranking and comprehensive ranking.
The top 10 domestic cities on the list were Hangzhou, Sanya, Chengdu, Xiamen, Kunming, Qingdao, Guangzhou, Haikou, Zhoushan and Ningbo.
The ranking on the list is given the recognition of Sanya’s long-term efforts to build itself into an international leisure tourist city. Besides, Haikou is ranked 12th in the category of comprehensive tourism competitiveness.
