3 new air routes to be opened for alleviating air-traffic congestion in Sanya
With the original air route of Hainan Island, there will be 4 routes for flights to and from the Sanya Phoenix International Airport.
Intended to relieve air-traffic congestion of flights to and from Sanya, the flight airspace in Hainan Island is to be adjusted and 3 new air routes will be opened, according to the Sanya Air Traffic Management Station of Civil Aviation of China.
Two temporary routes of the 3 new air routes will be situated on the west side of Hainan Island, stretching to the southwest, while the permanent will stretch to the southeast.
In addition the original air route to Hainan Island, there will be 4 more routes for flights to and from the Sanya Phoenix International Airport.
According to the introduction, this flight airspace adjustment program will be officially implemented by 16th January, 2014.
