The 2014 PKRA World Tour (Haikou Event) will be held at Holiday Beach on the West Coast of Haikou from November 1st-5th.

This mega event will feature both racing and freestyle disciplines.

The 40 professional kitesurfers will include the world’s top 10 male and female athletes from over 10 countries and regions, including Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, New Zealand and Brazil. They will clash in the 6-day Haikou event to get their hands on a slice of the total prize pool of US $37,000.

To make it more convenient for the public to watch the game, the organizing committee is also providing free shuttle bus services every day. Local residents and tourists can take the buses from the Haikou Evergreen Park and Hainan University to Holiday Beach.

For the opening ceremony, exciting beach parties will also be held to entertain the crowds, and visitors onsite will be treated with free drinks and beer.
