Starting from 1st January 2014, Sanya’s real-time air quality data, updated every hour, has started being officially published on 3 online platforms, according to Sanya Land Environment & Resources Department.

The 3 online platforms are the official website of the Sanya Land Environment & Resources Department www.sylr.gov.cn, the Sanya government site www.sanya.gov.cn and the Chinese National Urban Air Quality Real-time Publishing Platform.

The real-time air quality information released online includes the monitoring data of levels of inhalable participates (PM 10), PM 2.5 pollution particles, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide and ozone.

At present, Sanya has completed installation of two of its air quality monitoring stations in Hedong and Hexi districts, and 5 more monitoring stations will be established in Haitang Bay, Yacheng and Yalong Bay in the next two years.
