Sanya starts crackdown campaign to preclude road obstacles
On December 29th, the Sanya traffic police department, joined with the Hedong & Hexi District Administrative Committees and Comprehensive Enforcement Bureau, launched a special crackdown campaign to preclude illegal traffic barriers and clean up irregular roadside stalls around the city.
The citywide campaign, which will last until 10th January 2014, mainly focuses on the 12 major roads in downtown Sanya, including Fenghuang Road, Yingbin Road, Hedong Road, Hexi Road, Sanya Bay Road, Jiefang road, Shengli road, linchunhe Road, Yuya road, Nanbianhai Road, Luling Road and Jinjiling Road.
Illegal road signs, advertising light boxes, commercial advertisings, parking vehicles and roadside stalls along the overhead roads will be cleaned up completely, according to the head of Sanya traffic police department.
