Since December 27th, the Sanya Commodity Price Control Bureau has released, on its official website, the standard room prices of the city’s 287 hotels during the 2014 Chinese New Year holidays.

The 287 hotels include 23 hotels in Yalong Bay, 57 hotels in Sanya Bay, 11 hotels in Haitang Bay, 48 hotels in Dadonghai, and 120 hotels in the urban area and another 28 hotels.

Higher hotel room rates are concentrated in Yalong Bay and Haitang Bay, but the highest daily price for a standard room of 15 high-end hotels in these regions, like the Ritz Carlton, is not allowed to exceed 6,000 yuan. In addition, hotel room rates that are less than 268 yuan per night are not rare in Sanya Bay.

Most of the hotel room rates during the upcoming Chinese New Year holidays will remain at the same level as last year.
