Over 180 cyclists compete in 8th Annual Sanya Bicycle Race
More than 180 cyclists from 38 domestic teams raced in the 8th Sanya Bicycle Race 2013 that kicked off on 28th December.
The 2-day competition featured a road race and a mountain biking race, which took place at Egret Park and Luneng New City in Sanya Bay, respectively.
The annual Sanya Bicycle Race is jointly held by Sanya Municipal Government, and undertaken by Sanya Bureau of Culture, Radio, TV, Publication and Sports and Sanya Cycling Association.
Established in 2006, the bicycle race has grown a great deal in not only promoting the sport but advocating the idea of low-carbon life in city development.
