After more than 8 months of construction, the wastewater separation infrastructure reconstruction project in Sanya city was fully completed on December 22nd, 9 days ahead of schedule.

As of now, all of the projects involved roads have been opened to traffic.

With a total investment of 660 million yuan, the project was started in the areas of Sanya River, Sanya Bay and Fenghuang Road on April 15th, and focused on reconstruction in Xincheng Road, Sanya Bay Road, Haihong Road, Jinjilin Road, Youyi Road, Jixiang Road, Fenghuang Road, Linchunhe Road, Hexi Road and Yingbin Road.

A new 51.9-kilometer sewage pipe and a 33-kilometer rain pipe have been built in the above road sections, and an older 26.5-kilometer pipe was cleaned.

According to the Sanya Housing and Construction Ministry, the sewage pipes of 36 hotels in Sanya Bay have been connected with the main pipe, and the damaged green belts will be renewed before the Chinese new year.
