According to the Sanya Police Department, a total of more than 2,900 public parking spaces in Sanya’s Hexi and Hedong districts are being demarcated from 13th to 23rd December 2013, with about one third of those completed thus far.

To ensure that the passage of pedestrians and vehicles is not impeded, construction is being carried out only after 11:30 pm.

18 road sections have been designated as restricted parking areas due to the construction at night, including Hexi Road, Xinjian Road, Hedong Road and Linchunhe Road.

As of now, 280 small parking spaces and 350 spaces, which are devoted to electric vehicles, have been marked in the Hedong and Linchunhe road sections in Hedong district.

The charging scheme for these public parking spaces has not yet been issued.
