The first batch of 10 enterprises have signed agreements to settle down in Haitang Bay on December 15th, which is part of the local government’s effort to build the city into an international business and travel center as well as a green headquarters base.

Last April, the Haitang Bay Management Committee allocated a piece of land over 4,000 acres for the development of the large-scale project, the Green Enterprise Capital.

The Green Enterprise Capital will feature the functions of exhibitions, trade, finances and fortune management.

The Green Enterprise Capital consists of the Green Enterprise headquarters and the Green Enterprise square. The project will start construction in the second half of 2013 with a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan. Construction of the whole project will last 6 to 10 years.
