Over 80 applicants were granted yacht operator licenses issued by the Hainan Genesis Yachts Crew Training Ltd. at Sanya Visun Yacht Club on December 10th after participating in the crew training activities.

As Sanya promotes itself as a major yachting tourism resort, applications for yachting licenses are soaring in the city.

Currently, there are only two qualified yacht crew training institutions in Hainan, the Hainan Genesis Yachts Crew Training Ltd. and Hainan Nanyuan Yachts Crew Training Company. Since 2008, 600 people have received training and obtained licenses in Sanya.

Those who have applied for yachting licenses mainly include yacht owners, local entrepreneurs and young people who are fond of it, all of which must arrange to take the Chinese theory and practical yachting test.
