Statistics show that the hotels and scenic spots in Haitang Bay welcomed a total of 220,674 international and domestic tourists in November 2013.

Amongst them, Wuzhizhou Island and Nantian Hot-spring scenic area received 111,802 and 33,400 tourists, respectively, and the fabulous sea view hotels received 75,472 tourists, an increase of 20% compared with the same period last year.

As of now, there are 7 high star hotels operating on the 22-kilometer coastline of Haitang Bay and 3 hotels at Wuzhizhou Island and Nantian Hot-spring scenic area. In addition, 2 new international hotels have started trial operations and a new one will open by the end of this year.

Sanya Haitang Bay has become a preferred destination for MICE tourism and theme wedding tourism with its charming sea views, abundant hotel resources, and advanced hi-tech conference facilities.

In October and November, a total of 24 large-scale enterprises held their conferences in Haitang Bay.
