The 2013 6th Sanya International Auto Show kicked off on Thursday in the outdoor square at Sanya’s Huifeng International Holiday Resort, where viewers have been crowding around the new car models.

According to organizers, a total of 30 automakers including VOLVO, Dongfeng Honda, Nissan, Beijing Hyundai, Shanghai Volkswagen, FAW-Volkswagen and PEUGEOT are taking part in the event.

The Sanya International Auto Show is the largest outdoor auto show of its kind in Hainan. Following sales growth in the last two years, the show witnessed orders for 69 cars on the first day of the show, with sales equaling 100.7 million Yuan.

Organized by the Nandao Evening News in Hainan, the auto show will run until this Sunday.
