Starting from December 13th, Sanya traffic police will be numbering some parking lots in Hedong and Hexi districts in order to facilitate better parking management and coordination.

According to a statement issued by the city planning department, the “Management Plan for Charged Parking in Sanya’s Urban Area” has gained approval from the local government. This new plan will be set in motion soon.

The work of labeling the parking sites with numbers on some road sections will last until December 23rd and during this period all vehicles are restricted from parking in these places overnight.

No parking is allowed at the road sections listed below in Hedong District:
1. West side of Hedong Road
2. East side of Linchunhe Road
3. Agricultural Trade Market at Xiangrui Road
4. Shangping Venue
5. Yiheng Road at Lingchun River
6. Yuechuan Road section
7. Danzhou Residential Community
8. Yulin Market on the Yuya Road

No parking is allowed at the road sections listed below in Hexi District:
1. Jiefang Road
2. Hexi West Road
3. Xinjian Road
4. Yuejin Road
5. Guangming Road
6. Shengli Road
7. Sanya Bay Road
8. Xinfeng Road
9. Jinjiling Road
