Sanya to add bus route to Haitang Bay Duty-free Shopping Center
To strengthen public transportation in the Haitang Bay area, the Sanya government is planning to add a new bus route running from downtown to the Haitang Bay Duty-free Shopping Center.
The government said changes to the existing routes will be introduced, and the new buses will travel to high-end hotels in the area and to the duty-free shopping center in order to provide a more convenient stay for tourists.
The Haitang Bay Duty-free Shopping Center, which started construction in June 2012, consists of two phases. The first phase, mainly for duty-free shopping , is set to open in early 2014.
