Sanya’s Phoenix Town, which is striving to build itself into an ecological and livable town, is to build the Dabing Hedong district of the town into a key coastal tourism service support area, according to a detailed plan released by local media.

Dabing Hedong district covers a land area of 100.06 hectares, stretching from the West Line Expressway in the east to the Haiyu West Line Highway in the south, and from Dabing River in the west to the West Ring Railway in the north, about 1.2 kilometers wide and 1.3 kilometers long.

According to the plan, the Dabing Hedong District tourism service support area will be divided into three main parts including a logistics resettlement area, a tourism service support area and an economic development zone.

After the completion, the town will be a new type of modern residential community with highly efficient tourism services and complete infrastructure services, including hotels, an air-logistics center, high-rise resettlement buildings, kindergartens, markets, shopping malls, bars and an exhibition center.
