Sanya’s 4th first-aid station officially put into use on Dec 6th
After over six months of preparation, Sanya’s a new first-aid station was officially established and put into service at Sanya Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital on December 6th, 2013.
The first-aid station is furnished with 3 ward-type ambulances, 32 first-aid medical care personnels and all sets of emergency medical devices.
In recent years, the number of emergency patients in Sanya city is growing with the expansion of urban area and boom of tourism. The existing 3 first-aid stations, respectively located in Sanya People’s Hospital, The PLA 425 Hospital and Hainan Provincial Nongken Sanya Hospital, could hardly cope with all of them.
As of now, Sanya Emergency Medical Center has had 4 first-aid stations with more than 200 emergency medical technicians, and the number of ambulances has increased to 31.
