Sanmeixia City, a tourist city in Henan Province is expected to establish sister city relationship with Sanya, said the local authority at a city promotion activity held in Wenbocheng Exhibition Center on November 22nd.
 
The move indicates the success of the local tourism marketing strategy in Sanya, which has gained nationwide recognition for the city’s tourism industry.
 
Since Sanya has become a popular tourist destination in China, the new initiative will complement resources of each other and achieve a win-win situation for two cities.
 
At present, there is strong demand for other cities to consider a personalized approach to boost local tourism, which means that these cities in mainland China now have the option of working with Sanya City.
