Sanya received 9.44 million tourists in the first 10 months of this year, marking a year-on-year increase of 10.43%, and its total tourism revenue reached over 18.4 billion yuan, up 19.85% over the same period last year.

Among then, overseas tourists made up 381,200 of total tourist arrivals, a decline of 7.7% from the same period last year. Domestic tourists numbered 9,060,900, up 11.35%.

Among them, domestic tourists created 17.1 billion yuan in tourism income for Sanya, up 19.85% over last year. On the other hand, foreign exchange earnings from tourism reached 200 million U.S. dollars, down 1.21% over last year.
