Haikou strives to build itself into capital of conferences & exhibitions
Haikou is going to hold more than 200 exhibition activities in 2014, aiming to build the city into a capital of conferences and exhibitions.
As an emerging exhibition city, Haikou has enjoyed rapid growth in its exhibition sector in recent years thanks to supportive policies and promotion activities launched by the local government.
During the 2013 China Int’l Exhibition Cultural Festival, Haikou once again won the Golden Dolphin Award, which is the most authoritative and prestigious annual award for the exhibition industry in China.
In the first 7 months of 2014, Haikou has held a total of 122 convention and exhibition activities. The number of exhibitions held in Haikou has grown at more than 30% year-on-year.
Exhibition activities to be held in Haikou this year include the Annual National Planning Conference 2014 on September 13th-15th, 10th China International Event Festival and 5th World Gene Convention 2014 on November 13th.
