On November 20th, a delegation from French Polynesia led by the Agriculture Minister Thomas Mouthame paid a visit to the Sanya Noni Planting Demonstration Base.

After a detailed understanding of the Noni’s cultivated area and planting situation in Sanya, the Agriculture Minister Thomas Mouthame said that the Sanya Noni Planting Demonstration Base was the best planting area for Noni he’d seen so far.

He suggested to develop Noni honey at the Sanya Noni Planting Demonstration Base, which are selling very well in French Polynesia, he believed that the Noni honey would be sure to easily find a market in China just like in French Polynesia.

French Polynesia lies in the South Pacific, with excellent natural conditions, abounding in Noni fruits.

A head of Hainan Noni industrial company working with the government of French Polynesia revealed that the company would invest and build a large Noni processing plant in Sanya next year, and start to import large quantities of Noni fruits from French Polynesia starting next October.
