The project design of the Sanya international art center which will be built at Haitang Bay.
 
During the calligraphy and painting PEN organized by Chinese Painting Institute on November 15th, the Sanya Haitang Bay management committee and Chinese Painting Institute signed a cooperative agreement to build the Sanya International Art Center at Haitang Bay.

Wang Zhongmin, the president of the Chinese Painting Institute, said that the Sanya International Art Center will be expected to become an important platform and base of study and communication for many artists, and will help more people know about the tourism resources, customs and culture of Hainan Island.

Aiming to build Sanya into a capital of culture and art, the Sanya government has attached great importance to cultural development in recent years by launching a series of cultural products and activities including the large-scale cultural performances of Sanya Qianguqing, Sanya Art Season and ‘LuHo Sanya’ New Year Carnival, and the construction of the Sanya International Art Center will be an important factor in continuing this development.
