Tourism and flights in Sanya restored after Typhoon Haiyan
Most oscenic spots in Sanya have been reopended and flights restored after Typhoon Haiyan, the strongest Typhoon to hit China this year, smashed the region on Sunday and moved northeast.
Scenic spots, including Nanshan Tourism Area, Tianya Haijiao Scenic Area, Daxiao Dongtian Scenic Area, and Yalong Bay Forest Park have reopened for tourism as of Tuesday, 12th November.
Local tourism authorities said typhoon Haiyan did not cause serious damage to the city’s scenic spots, and tourism is to be fully resumed soon.
