Haikou Meilan Airport issues call for retail and food & beverage shops
The Haikou Meilan International Airport has issued a call for tenders for retail and food & beverage concessions.
The Haikou Meilan International Airport has issued a call for retail and food & beverage concessions that wish to do business at the airport.
The new stores will include 19 individual outlets across the following categories: Hainan specialties, tropical fruit, jewelry, arts and crafts and cafés at the airport’s departure areas.
Haikou Meilan Airport is the only airport in mainland China that has a duty-free shop. So far, 43 internationally-recognized brands have been introduced to the duty-free store, including Channel, La Mer, La Prairie, Sulwhasoo, Sisley, Bobbi Brown and Laneige.
At present, the duty-free area of the store has reached 4,922 square meters.
Apart from the expansion of the store, the airport will improve its management of the food and beverage area. A new food street will be opened at the airport by the end of this year
