The 2013 China LPGA Tour Sanya’s Hills Ladies Classic kicked off on Friday 8th November at Sanya Longquan Valley Golf Club, the Sanya Daily reports.

65 players from areas including Guangdong province, Sichuan province, Beijing, Taipei, and Thailand will compete in the event.

A fantastic opportunity for the world to learn about the Longquan Valley Golf Course located 10 minutes from downtown Sanya, the“Hawaii of China”, the 65-player field will face great challenges on the magnificent course created by renowned American designers Schmidt-Curley.

With a strong contingent of China’s top amateurs in the Sanya field, Shi Yu Ting comes into the tournament in good form. The 15-year-old national team member finished equal fourth at the Sanya Ladies Open, two shots off the leader, and equal 28th at the Suzhou Taihou Open.

Co-organized by China Golf Association, Hainan Golf Association and Sanya sports department, the event will run from 8th to 10th November.
