According to the Sanya environmental monitoring station, real-time air quality information, updated every hour, has started to be published on the official website of the Sanya Land Environment & Resources Department since October 31st.

The real-time air quality information released on the website includes the monitoring data of levels of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, inhalable participates (PM10), PM2.5 pollution particles, ozone and carbon monoxide.

Starting from 1st January 2014, the real-time air quality data will be officially recorded in Sanya’s major media and some official websites of Hainan province and the country, and in addition the public will be able to view the Regional Air Quality Index for each monitoring station through the Internet.
