On October 23rd, the Sanya Tourism Association initiated and organized a symposium for the establishment of a southern Hainan group tourism cooperative organization at Baoting Tourism Administration.

A large number of tourism enterprises from southern cities of Hainan including Wanning, Ledong, Dongfang and Wuzhishan attended the meeting, aiming to organize a strong tourism promotion group stretching throughout the whole of southern Hainan to jointly promote their tourism products.

Xie Xiangxiang, the secretary-general of Sanya Tourism Association, said at the meeting that the southern Hainan group tourism cooperative organization will help these southern cities to realize the many advantageous complementarities and promote common development, and help with offering tourists more diversified tourism products as well as more convenient and satisfactory tourism services.

During the meeting, participants focused on a series of cooperation projects including developing excellent tourist routes from Sanya to other southern cities and counties of Hainan, setting up a tourist market development foundation, working out the southern Hainan group tourism service industrial standards, and so on.

The formation of the southern Hainan tourism circle centered around Sanya city will bring more tourism choices for international and domestic tourism groups, such as sunbathing and watching the sea at Sanya beaches, bathing in a hot spring at Baoting or enjoying the tropical rainforest in Wuzhishan.
